Ten days of sun, knowledge and energy of the future
The Days of the Sun have been organized every May since 2004 and have become a significant pillar of the energy transition in Switzerland. For ten days, it’s all about the power of the sun, as a source of clean energy, as a driver of innovation and as a beacon of hope in a changing world.
Throughout Switzerland, hundreds of organizers open their doors, roofs and hearts. Municipalities provide insights into their latest solar installations, specialist businesses explain technologies and demonstrate hands-on how photovoltaics work. Schools, kindergartens and associations design creative projects that awaken the fascination for renewable energy in the youngest. This diversity shows that solar energy has long since become part of the middle of society. And it is ready for the next big step.
