wattss Group enters European partnership with Finnish company Enervion
Swiss wattss Group and Finnish company Enervion have entered into a European partnership to develop and build modern battery energy storage systems. The goal is to stabilize electricity grids, support renewable energy, and provide reliable energy for communities, industry, and commerce.
Together, the companies are initially realizing four battery storage projects with a total of 64 MWh, which are expected to become operational in 2026. wattss brings experience from large-scale storage projects—including Switzerland’s largest battery system—as well as over 300 MWh of projects in Germany and Finland. Enervion complements this with Finnish engineering expertise and strong EPC competency.
The partnership also supports commercial and industrial customers who increasingly use battery storage to optimize costs, reduce risks, and secure their energy supply. Both companies emphasize that they focus on European technology, local value creation, and reliable, long-term solutions. Additional projects in Europe are planned for 2026.
